GPS Info Privacy Policy

GPS Info processes location and GNSS information live on your device. It does not collect, save, transmit, sell or share that information.

Information used by the app

When you grant foreground location permission, GPS Info can display precise or approximate location, altitude, speed, bearing, accuracy, satellite status, raw GNSS measurements, receiver-clock fields, NMEA sentences, navigation messages, antenna information and session statistics.

How information is handled

These values are processed temporarily in memory while the app is open. GPS Info does not keep a location history, create an account or upload information to the developer or any third party. The app does not request Internet access.

Permissions

• Precise location: enables the full live GPS and GNSS instrument suite.
• Approximate location: allows Android to provide reduced-precision location when selected by the user.

GPS Info does not request background location. Tracking callbacks are removed when tracking stops.

Third-party services and children

The app contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, billing, account or cloud SDK. It is a technical utility intended for adults and is not designed for children.

Android system services

Android and device manufacturers may operate system-level location services according to the settings and privacy terms configured on the device. Those services are separate from developer collection by GPS Info.
