RSS Slideshow Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-04

RSS Slideshow is a free Android app that displays technology news from public RSS and Atom feeds as a fullscreen slideshow.

Data We Do Not Collect

RSS Slideshow does not require an account and does not collect names, email addresses, precise location, contacts, photos, audio, files, financial information, health information, messages, or user-generated content.

The app does not include ads, ad SDKs, analytics SDKs, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.

Data Stored On Your Device

RSS Slideshow stores settings locally on your device, such as slide duration, refresh interval, display options, clock settings, fullscreen mode, keep-screen behavior, and the configured OPML feed-list URL.

The app also caches recent public article metadata locally so the slideshow can continue to show recently loaded items. Cached metadata can include article title, summary, source, publication time, article URL, image URL, and source logo URL.

You can delete local data by clearing the app's storage in Android Settings or by uninstalling the app.

Network Requests

RSS Slideshow fetches the configured OPML file, public RSS/Atom feeds, article images, source logos, and favicon fallback images. When you tap an article, the article opens in your external browser.

These network requests are sent to third-party publishers and services selected by the configured feed list. Those third-party servers may receive normal network metadata such as your IP address, timestamp, and requested URL. RSS Slideshow does not operate a backend that collects or sells this data.

Children

RSS Slideshow is not designed for children and is not directed to children under 13.
