- Q: The answering machine does not take up after a certain number of recordings.
A: The answering machine can record max. 50 messages. If this boundary should be reached, please delete your recordings (if necessary you can store these in the PC). - Q: The call forwarding does not function.
A:
1.) please check with your network whether the call forwarding is approved.
2.) if yes, please set the call forwarding according to the guidance of the telephone system.
3.) check whether the MSN is entered in the telephone correctly and without preselection.
4.) if everything is ok, call our Hotline 0190 / 79 11 12 - Q: I have deleted my messages, but no memory has been freed.
A: The deletion of a lot of recordings can take some time, this is made in the background. I.e. Not to paralyze, in extreme cases, the telephone over one minute, it waits for tiptel 195 not to be used for a long time. Then it releases gradually the memory, so you can always use the telephone. - Q: I can not cannot operate with the PC software.
A: No modification can be made to the telephone during a conversation, finish your phone call. - Q: My Tiptel 195 has still no LCR functions.
A: LCR flowed as new capability characteristics into the manufacturing, so that the first series are not equipped. There is the possibility of re-tooling LCR over a UPGRADE. You can refer this Upgrade over your specialist dealer. - Q: Can I transform *.wav files into the 195?
A: The Tiptel 195 is formatted as TrueSpeech (tsp). This is a registered trademark of the company DSP Group. Unfortunately it is impossible to edit this format on a PC. You only can save it to disk because of the fact DSP - as a leading company in the market of compression software - didn't release a driver software for the PC. The in MSWindows implementated True-Speech-format uses another algorythm. - Q: Can I transfer telephone numbers from an other program to my 195?
A: Yes, using the ASCII format - Q: Can I use my Tiptel 195 with other programs?
